Sacramento area gardeners are invited to participate in an “agri-cultural” exchange with the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library! 

This year SacramentoBethlehem  has germinated from the seeds of Palestinian heirloom tomatoes,  cucumbers and faquos!  We are patiently waiting for the Battiri eggplant to germinate!   Battir is a beautiful village in the Bethlehem district of Palestine. It is recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site, owing to the careful stewardship by generations of Palestinians of the ancient terraces and irrigation systems still practiced today.
 
Interested participants must be willing to:
1) follow simple directions in caring for their plants(s)
2) share their experience with others.
