SacramentoBethlehem Sister City                                                                Palestinian Heirloom Eggplant Project
Welcome! ahlan wa sahlan
 أهلا و سهلا

Sacramento area gardeners are invited to participate in an “agri-cultural” exchange with the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library!

SacramentoBethlehem has a limited supply of eggplant seedling(s) germinated from the seeds of a Battiri eggplant.  Battir is a beautiful village in the Bethlehem district of Palestine. It is recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site, owing to the careful stewardship by generations of Palestinians of the ancient terraces and irrigation systems still practiced today.

Interested participants must be willing to:
1) follow simple directions in caring for their plants(s)
2) share their experience with others through our WhatsApp group.
