SacramentoBethlehem Sister City pleased to announce a unique extended stay experience in Bethlehem, Palestine at the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability and Palestine Museum of Natural History.
The Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS), established in 2014, is located on the Bethlehem University’s Mar Andrea campus. Together with its offshoot, the Palestine Museum of Natural History (PMNH), it carries out a mission to “research, educate about, and conserve our natural world, culture and heritage and promote responsible human interactions with our environment. “ For more information on PIBS/PMNH click HERE
* Applicants must reside in the Sacramento region. Applicants may be students temporarily residing in the Sacramento region.
* Applicants may have a range of qualifications and interests (see PMNH needs HERE). Applicants with experience in writing, videography and/or social media; grant writing; the natural sciences, permaculture and sustainability; Middle Eastern studies, or Arabic language are especially encouraged to apply.
* Applicants should be able to commit to one month (min.) to three months (max.) Meals and accommodation are covered while at PMNH. Fundraising efforts are encouraged to cover other expenses such as travel. Assistance with this may be available through SacramentoBethlehem.
